OSCH on Exadata Client Raises Block Errors when Connecting to a BDA over Infiniband with: client.local.interfaces="ib0,ib1" (Doc ID 1915121.1)

OSCH on Exadata Client raises block errors as below when connecting to a BDA over an Infiniband with: client.local.interfaces="ib0,ib1":

SQL> select /*+ parallel (96) */ count(*) from <TABLE>;
select /*+ parallel (96) */ count(*) from <TABLE>
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-12801: error signaled in parallel query server P129, instance<client> (1)
ORA-29913: error in executing ODCIEXTTABLEFETCH callout
ORA-29400: data cartridge error
KUP-04095: preprocessor command /opt/oracle/orahdfs-3.0.0/bin/hdfs_stream
encountered error "OSCH: Error processing URI
Could not obtain block:
BP-<id>-<private ip>-<#>:blk_111222_1234

a) The same query executes in Hive, Impala, and 'hadoop cat'.
b) FSCK shows that the filesystem under path '/user/<path>/part-m-<#>' is healthy.
c) Connection through the 10G interface is successful i.e.
