Symptoms
Running Oracle JDBC for Rdb 7.3.3 on OpenVMS Itanium V8.4 using HP Java V1.5-7 or V1.6
You observe the MP server 100% CPU bound with NO clients attached. When attempting to shut down using the thincontrol tool, the tool believes the command was executed properly but the server did not stop. Had to manually do a STOP/ID.
