RDBPROD: POLL REOPENLOGS Does Not Open A New Version Of The Log Files (Doc ID 1918542.1)

JDBC for Rdb log files are locked until the thin server is shut down. Beginning with JDBC for Rdb it is possible to open a new version of the log files so the previous version can be examined. That is done by using the POLL sub-command REOPENLOGS.

Under certain circumstances the old log files are closed, but a new log is not created. Example:
