Symptoms
JDBC for Rdb log files are locked until the thin server is shut down. Beginning with JDBC for Rdb 7.3.0.1 it is possible to open a new version of the log files so the previous version can be examined. That is done by using the POLL sub-command REOPENLOGS.
Under certain circumstances the old log files are closed, but a new log is not created. Example:
