Exadata: CELL-02623 perfquery error and ibport reported Down after IB cable reseat or replacement (Doc ID 1918599.1)

Symptoms

Due to IB errors on one of the Infiniband ports of the storage cells, the cable is reseated or replaced. However, cellcli continues to report the port as down:

 

Changes

 The IB cable was reseated or replaced. Following the on-site maintenance activity, the ibqueryerrors.pl no longer reports increases in the various error counters for the port, confirming that the link layer issue with the port or cable has been resolved. Yet, MS still marks the port as Down
