Symptoms

Using the Database Gateway for SQL*Server (DG4MSQL) 12.1, running on the RHEL6 Linux x86_64 platform, the following error occurs trying to connect to a SQL*Server 2008 R2 database in the Azure Cloud -

SQL: >select * from INFORMATION_SCHEMA.TABLES@DG4MSQL;
select * from INFORMATION_SCHEMA.TABLES@DG4MSQL
                                       *
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-28500: connection from ORACLE to a non-Oracle system returned this message:
[Oracle][ODBC SQL Server Wire Protocol driver]Seeding the PRNG failed, most
likely because the system does not have /dev/random. {08001}
