On an RAC database the following error is reported:

ORA-609 : opiodr aborting process unknown ospid (39256618_1)
Mon Aug 18 16:14:07 2014
Exception [type: SIGILL, Illegal opcode] [ADDR:0x0] [PC:0x0, {empty}]
Errors in file /oracle/diag/rdbms/fcr/FCR1/trace/XXXX_ora_37224744.trc (incident=2368540):
ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [PC:0x0] [SIGILL] [ADDR:0x0] [PC:0x0] [Illegal opcode] []
Incident details in: /oracle/diag/rdbms/fcr/FCR1/incident/incdir_2368540/XXXX_ora_37224744_i2368540.trc

It is important to note that the Program Counter [PC:] reported in the error is zero, ie: [PC:0x0, {empty}]
Some or all of the following function codes are found in the 'Call Stack' section of the incident trace file:


skgxppost <- ksxppst <- kslpsprns  <- kskpthr <- kslpspr <- ksasnd <- ksbasend_internal <- ksbasend  <- kdnfre <- kqlfre <- kglobfr <- kglobf0

The failing function is skgxppost.
