Symptoms

Query issues after installing Patch #18940194 (July 2014 CPU) for Oracle 11.2.0.3. Queries were executed successfully prior to installing the patch. The following error is shown:

ORA-29902: error in executing ODCIIndexStart() routine
ORA-20000: Oracle Text error:
DRG-50857: oracle error in get functional cache size
ORA-06550: line 1, column 27:
PLS-00302: component 'GET_FUNCTIONAL_CACHE_SIZE' must be declared
ORA-06550: line 1, column 7:
PL/SQL: Statement ignored
