Symptoms

On Oracle Big Data Appliance(BDA) during install, upgrade or applying a patch using mammoth, hang occurs when performing cluster validation checks while executing exachk command.

Running Exachk. This will take some time...
Logging information to /tmp/<ClusterName>-install-summary/log/run_exachk.out 

 

Hang can be replicated by running './mammoth -c' command from /opt/oracle/BDAMammoth directory
