Symptoms

Performing an export or a select * from a table with PARTITION BY HASH and SUBPARTITION BY RANGE the following error occurs:

ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [qcdlaucn()+236] [SIGSEGV] [ADDR:0x8] [PC:0x10801896C] [Address not mapped to object] [ ]


The call stack from the trace file includes functions like:

... qcdlaucn qcsfaucn qcstda qcspsec qcspqbDescendents qcspqb kkmdrv opiSem opiprs kksParseChildCursor rpiswu2 kksLoadChild kxsGetRuntimeLock kksfbc ...

 

Changes

The issue is encountered after doing an application upgrade which normally consists of adding columns and granting/revoking privileges.
