Symptoms

Creating an ACFS  volume throws error ORA-15490.
 

oracle@:+ASM2> asmcmd volcreate -G <diskgroup> -s 500g <volume>
ORA-15032: not all alterations performed
ORA-15490: not all instances could add/drop the volume (DBD ERROR: OCIStmtExecute)

 


SQL> /* ASMCMD */alter diskgroup <diskgroup> add volume '<volume>' size 500g
NOTE: Advancing AVD compatibility to 11.2.0.0.0 for grp 4
