Unable To Refresh Partition Dimension After Creating From EIF XOQ-01600 OLAP DML error while executing DML (Doc ID 1941803.1)

Symptoms

On : 11.2.0.3 version,

When attempting to refresh dimensions in OLAP cube
the following error occurs.

ERROR

INI : error creating a definition manager Generic at TxsOqConnection generic ORA 37106:invalid partition name
XOQ-01600 OLAP DML error while executing DML
SYS.AWXML!R_11_COMPLILE_PARTITIONS Generic atTxsOqstdfromcommand:execute

Partition "P0" is a default partition that was created automatically when refresh partitioned dimension. Below are the steps you followed

1) Limited all  dimensions to null in OLAP worksheet

example:
limit dim1 to null
limit dim2 to null

2) EXPORT command is used to copy everything to an EIF file

example:

export all to eif file [eif filename]
exit

3) Later used IMPORT command to copy everything from same EIF file into empty workspace

example:

import all from eif file [eif filename]
update
commit


4) You are able to refresh all dimensions except partition dimension
