Goal

On : 11.2.0.1 and later version, Real Application Cluster

Cant start a RAC node

ALTER SYSTEM SET db_recovery_file_dest_size='12G' SCOPE=BOTH;

ALTER SYSTEM SET log_archive_dest_1='LOCATION=+LOGS/<database>/ARCHIVELOG/' SCOPE=BOTH;

ALTER SYSTEM SET db_recovery_file_dest=' ' SCOPE=BOTH;

<instance1>.log

ALTER SYSTEM SET log_archive_dest='+LOGS' SCOPE=SPFILE;

There has been a changes made in the parameters for both the instances. After the reboot the instance 2 didn't come up because of the changes.
