Symptoms

 

If mview having private database link in its definition query exists in the database, the procedure for increasing the Maximum Size of VARCHAR2, NVARCHAR2, and RAW
Columns may error out with:
   ORA-02019: connection description for remote database not found

The error could occur when running script @?/rdbms/admin/utl32k.sql after setting enable max_string_size=extended.
