How To Increase Top-N (TopN) Defaulting At 200 Results (Doc ID 1946532.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 12, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Secure Enterprise Search - Version 11.1.2.2 to 11.1.2.2 [Release 11g]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

From both the SES application and the web service API, Search Query cannot receive more than 200 items in a cluster, even when Top-N is set to a larger value.

In the file "search.properties", the following parameters are set :

for ex-

# configure number of hits to request for top-N results
ses.qapp.default_topn_docs=500
ses.qapp.max_topn_docs=1000

In the web service call, it is configured for 500.

Is there any way to allow TopN to be higher than 200 ?
