Symptoms
On Database version 11.2.0.3
When attempting to use DBMS_METADATA.GET_DDL when logged as SYSTEM database user,the following error occurs.
ORA-31603: object "JTF_PF_PAGE_OBJECT" of type TYPE not found in schema "APPS"
ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_METADATA", line 5363
ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_METADATA", line 7879
ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_METADATA", line 7879
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
However – if one login as APPS then DBMS_METADATA.GET_DDL returns proper DDL.
