BDA DataNodes Reports Many "Replica not found" Messages (Doc ID 1950118.1)

Symptoms

On BDA V4.0, the Cloudera Manager Event tab:   Diagnostics > Events, reports many instances of "Replica not found" for Datanodes like:

IMPORTANT DatanodeRegistration(<IP>, datanodeUuid=<UUID>, infoPort=<INFOPORT>,ipcPort=<IPCPORT>,
storageInfo=lv=-<LV>;cid=<CID>;nsid=<NSID>;c=0):Got exception while serving BP-<#>:blk_<#> to /<IP>:<PORT>
org.apache.hadoop.hdfs.server.datanode.ReplicaNotFoundException: Replica not found for BP-<#>:blk_<#>
