On Oracle Big Appliance 2.* Releases, mammoth Fails on Step1 when using Non-Oracle PDU (Doc ID 1951158.1)

Symptoms

On Oracle Big Data Appliance using Non Oracle PDU. Configuration files are generated using 2.5/2.6 configurator and 'yes' is selected for 'Will you use non-Oracle PDUs' question.

Made sure /opt/oracle/bda/<rackname>-BdaDeploy.json or BdaDeploy.json or /opt/oracle/BDAMammoth/mammoth-<rackname>.params files don't contain entries for "PDU_*_NAME" / "PDU_*_IP"

But during install/upgrade mammoth step1 fails with below error:
