Symptoms

Partition maintenance operations may fail with ORA-14766/ora-14403 in the
presence of any deferred segments in the table

As an example:

ALTER TABLE <table name> MOVE SUBPARTITION <sub partition name>
COMPRESS FOR QUERY NOPARALLEL

ERROR at line 1:
ORA-14766: Unable to obtain a stable metadata snapshot

ALTER TABLE <table name>MOVE SUBPARTITION <sub partition name>

ORA-14403: cursor invalidation detected after getting DML partition lock
