Goal

Created a test database with DBCA using a template created from a production database. The production database was a replication master. Replication is not required in the test database.

After creating the test database I am seeing the following errors in the alert log:

Errors in file /u01/app/oracle/admin/9.2.0/seatst/bdump/seatst_j013_2589.trc:
ORA-12012: error on auto execute of job 36

Errors in file /u01/app/oracle/admin/9.2.0/seatst/bdump/seatst_j000_2604.trc:

PLS-00201: identifier 'SYS.DBMS_DEFER_SYS' must be declared
ORA-06550: line 1, column 129:

How can these errors be resolved?
