Symptoms

Database instance startup via sqlplus and srvctl shows different per process system memlock limit values.

For instance started via sqlplus, alert log shows:

Per process system memlock (soft) limit = 29G

Expected per process system memlock (soft) limit to lock
SHARED GLOBAL AREA (SGA) into memory: 8194M


For instance started via srvctl, alert log shows:

Starting ORACLE instance (normal) (OS id: 20602)
