Installed DB2 Client on One BDA Node, Then BDA Node Will Not Boot and Seeing ERROR: Required package version libstdc++-4.4.7-11.el6.x86_64 is not supported in release 3.0.1 (Doc ID 1964415.1)

Symptoms

A DB2 client was installed on node 5 (or any other node of the cluster) of the Oracle Big Data Appliance (BDA) and the system now will not boot up.

When it is able to be brought up it fails BDA software check and unable to login to the console. The bda_reboot_status file  on the node or bdachecksw output shows errors like the following:

ERROR: Required package version libstdc++-4.4.7-11.el6.x86_64 is not supported in release 3.0.1
ERROR: Required package version libstdc++-4.4.7-11.el6.x86_64 is not supported in release 3.0.1
