Trying to find out if there is a way to check on what OS partition a particular hdfs block resides.
The question is raised when there are few corrupt hdfs blocks(not critical files and reason for corruption is known) and need to find the actual location (node / volume ) for a given hdfs folder / file.
fsck command shows the block id and the node, but not the actual location / volume for example it's on /u11/hadoop/..... etc
