Symptoms

The customer has a business need to exclude certain tables from a Data Pump export.
They discovered that when they used an EXCLUDE statement that contains a SELECT statement to do the exclusion, function-based indexes for the remaining tables were excluded.

This is the exclude statement that was used in the data pump export:

EXCLUDE = TABLE:"IN(select table_name from dba_tables where owner='<owner>' and table_name like 'AA%')"

This behavior occurs with Oracle 11.2.0.2 but not on 11.2.0.4. Oracle 11.2.0.3 was not tested.
