DataPump Import (Impdp) Fails With ORA-39083, ORA-12899 For Table With Virtual Column (Doc ID 1968276.1)

Symptoms

DataPump import (impdp) reports errors like below for a table having a virtual column:

ORA-39083: Object type TABLE failed to create with error:
ORA-12899: value too large for column "RECV_COMPL_SIGN_CLIENT_DATE" (actual: 11, maximum: 20)
Failing sql is:
ALTER TABLE "CLINICOPIA_REPORTS"."ENT$INVENTORY_LOT_LEVEL" MODIFY ("RECV_COMPL_SIGN_CLIENT_DATE" TIMESTAMP (9) GENERATED ALWAYS AS ("CLINICOPIA_REPORTS"."CER_SIGNATURE"."GET_SIGNATURE_CLIENT_DATE"("RECV_COMPL_SIGN")) VIRTUAL VISIBLE )
