Information in this document applies to any platform.
Physical standby setup with Fast Start Failover enabled,
- On the Primary node a problem occurred resulting in the entire node hanging and not responding to any login attempts resulting in an automated failover beginning which does not complete
- Nothing is recorded in the DRC logs, DMON was stuck on a network call and is no longer responding
- Manual attempt to failover did not complete and appeared to hang in the Standby Site
- The failover to the Standby site does not complete successfully until the stuck Primary node had been rebooted
