Symptoms
When performing a parallel Data Pump import in a RAC database using the 12c new 'smart flash cache' feature next symptoms were noticed in the database:
- high CPU usage
and following wait events:
- free buffer waits
- latch: cache buffers lru chain
- latch: cache buffers chains
If smart flash cache is disabled then there are no problems with database performance when performing the import.
