Symptoms

Symptom 1:

Database Upgrade or Post Patching (DB /OJVM PSU) fails with errors:

 

ORA-04045: errors during recompilation/revalidation of SYS.DBMS_ISCHED
ORA-02290: check constraint (SYS.JAVA_DEV_DISABLED) violated
ORA-06508: PL/SQL: could not find program unit being called: "SYS.DBMS_ISCHED"
ORA-06512: at line 12

 

Symptom 2: For 12c & above, datpatch fails with error:

Patch 35320081 apply (pdb PDB$SEED): WITH ERRORS
logfile: $ORACLE_BASE/cfgtoollogs/sqlpatch/35320081/25314491/35320081_apply_DB_PDBSEED_<timestap>.log (errors)
-> Error at line 10910: script md/admin/prvtgri.plb
- ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1
- ORA-02290: check constraint (SYS.JAVA_DEV_DISABLED) violated
ru_logfile: $ORACLE_BASE/cfgtoollogs/sqlpatch/35320081/25314491/35320081_ru_apply_DB_PDBSEED_<timestap>.log (no errors)
