Goal

By default Advanced Compression Option (ACO) is used when unloading the metadata (content=metadata_only, default option) with DataPump. So logically DataPump surely is using compression but only for metadata. But since as per licensing policies, using metadata_only is free, we are not considering this feature used when running a DataPump job without explicitly specifying a non-default compression option.

How to check if Advanced Compression (ACO) is used by DataPump?
