Symptoms
- Attempting to prepare the database in order to perform a replay using DBMS_WORKLOAD_REPLAY.PREPARE_REPLAY (or PREPARE_CONSOLIDATED_REPLAY) does not complete (and will never complete)
- A query of gv$sql will show the timestamp value for last_active_time never changing for the following DML statement:
- PARALLEL_INSTANCE_GROUP is set for parallel execution
- The replay directory is shared across all nodes
