Last updated on MAY 19, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Database - Enterprise Edition - Version and later
Oracle Database Cloud Schema Service - Version N/A and later
Oracle Database Exadata Cloud Machine - Version N/A and later
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure - Database Service - Version N/A and later
Oracle Database Backup Service - Version N/A and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

After cloning a  database with RMAN, the DBID of the new database is changed, but the AWR contains the snapshots of the old DBID.

When creating Sql Tuning Sets for tuning purposes in the new database from the AWR snapshots, one cannot use the imported or old snapshots with the different DBID than the current database. There is no option to specify DBID with DBMS_SQLTUNE package.
