Symptoms

An ORA-942 is encountered when using DataPump export/import.

When impdp is performed:

Connected to: Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.3.0 - 64bit Production
With the Partitioning, OLAP, Data Mining and Real Application Testing options
Master table "SYSTEM"."SYS_SQL_FILE_FULL_01" successfully loaded/unloaded
ORA-39068: invalid master table data in row with PROCESS_ORDER=-1
ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
Job "SYSTEM"."SYS_SQL_FILE_FULL_01" successfully completed at 18:28:20


When expdp is performed:

Starting "SYSTEM"."SYS_EXPORT_SCHEMA_04":  system/******** parfile=<PARFILE>.par
Estimate in progress using BLOCKS method...
ORA-39126: Worker unexpected fatal error in KUPW$WORKER.CONFIGURE_METADATA_UNLOAD [ESTIMATE_PHASE]
ORA-00942: table or view does not exist


The trace file shows ORA-942 is produced when accessing master table.
