Cluster Backup Info Not Showing Up With MySQL Cluster Manager (MCM) (Doc ID 2000844.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 01, 2016

Applies to:

MySQL Cluster - Version 7.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Prior to some unknown change, backups were being reported as successful:

mcm> list backups mycluster;
+----------+--------+-----------+----------------------+---------+
| BackupId | NodeId | Host      | Timestamp            | Comment |
+----------+--------+-----------+----------------------+---------+
| 1        | 1      | 127.0.0.1 | 2015-06-05 04:10:18Z |         |
| 1        | 2      | 127.0.0.1 | 2015-06-05 04:10:18Z |         |
+----------+--------+-----------+----------------------+---------+
2 rows in set (0.10 sec)

Then some time later, the same backups are reported to not exist:

mcm> list backups mycluster;
+----------+--------+-----------+-----------+-----------+
| BackupId | NodeId | Host      | Timestamp | Comment   |
+----------+--------+-----------+-----------+-----------+
| None     | 1      | 127.0.0.1 |           | No backup |
| None     | 2      | 127.0.0.1 |           | No backup |
+----------+--------+-----------+-----------+-----------+
2 rows in set (0.08 sec)

Changes

 It is likely that some other process has changed the path or uid for the backup folder on the File system, which prevents the MySQL Cluster Manager (MCM) Agent from reading the backup.
