Symptoms

After applying a patch fixing: SQOOP-1764, it is found that for very large tables the logs may display a negative number of blocks.

For example, the log from a very large table may show something like:

The table being imported by sqoop has -1991294464 blocks that have been divided into 50 chunks
which will be processed in 24 splits.
