How to Validate Oracle Workspace Manager (OWM) in DBA_REGISTRY ? (Doc ID 2008639.1)

Goal

This document will explain how to validate Oracle Workspace Manager (OWM) in DBA_REGISTRY if it is currently INVALID.

If there were invalid Oracle Workspace Manager objects in the database, the Oracle Workspace Manager component will be set to INVALID in DBA_REGISTRY.  The component status may have been changed during an install, upgrade or if running utlrp.sql.



If the invalid Oracle Workspace Manager objects have been corrected and the user WMSYS does not have any invalid objects, then the DBA_REGISTRY validation procedure for Oracle Workspace Manager will need to be run again.
