CVE-2015-3456 - Venom Vulnerability - Patch Availability for Oracle Database Appliance (Doc ID 2011698.1)

Purpose

This document provides instructions on how to remediate the Venom Vulnerability (CVE-2015-3456) on Oracle Database Appliance. This fix is applicable to only Oracle Database Appliance deployed in the Virtualization mode. The fix need to be applied to only the dom-0. No fix is required on oda_base.

Oracle Database Appliance deployments running  bare metal stack are not affected by this vulnerability.
