RMAN Active Duplicate for RAC Database Using SCAN Listener can fail with different errors in different attempts, e.g.:
Password File copy failure:
Changes
Perform cloning of database using RMAN ACTIVE DUPLICATE using SCAN listener. Note, the following option to create the standby uses 'active duplicate':
o Online Backup
o Use Recovery Manager(RMAN) to copy database files
Staging areas not required RMAN will copy files directly to destination locations
