RMAN ACTIVE DUPLICATE fails with ORA-1547 RMAN-6053 RMAN-6025 (Doc ID 2015271.1)

Symptoms

 

RMAN ACTIVE DUPLICATE fails with ORA-1547 RMAN-6053 RMAN-6025 despite needed archived logs copied to auxiliary:

ORA-01547: warning: RECOVER succeeded but OPEN RESETLOGS would get error below
ORA-01152: file 1 was not restored from a sufficiently old backup
ORA-01110: data file 1: '/u01/app/oracle/oradata/HRTEST/system01.dbf'

RMAN-06025: no backup of archived log for thread 1 with sequence 170109 and starting SCN of 13932009491 found to restore
RMAN-06025: no backup of archived log for thread 1 with sequence 170108 and starting SCN of 13931996920 found to restore
....
RMAN-06025: no backup of archived log for thread 1 with sequence 170029 and starting SCN of 13930846890 found to restore
RMAN-06025: no backup of archived log for thread 1 with sequence 170028 and starting SCN of 13930840850 found to restore



RMAN log shows as if all restored archived logs already known to RMAN:

RMAN-07501: searching for all files in the recovery area
RMAN-07505: no files found to be unknown to the database
