Cloudera Service Monitor Keeps Dying (Doc ID 2016669.1)

The Cloudera service monitor service keeps dying on node03 of the BDA. Have restarted the service monitor however it ends up dying again.

The error seen is:

Detected pause in JVM or host machine (e.g. a stop the world GC, or JVM not scheduled): paused approximately 11094ms: GC pool 'ConcurrentMarkSweep' had collection(s): count=1 time=11550ms


The logs show error about being out of memory:

Caused by: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: unable to create new native thread
       at java.lang.Thread.start0(Native Method)
       at java.lang.Thread.start(
