BDA V4.2 "bdacheckcluster" Fails to Recognize NoSQL is Running-Raises "ERROR: Oracle NoSQL Database doesn't seem to be running" (Doc ID 2026817.1)

Last updated on JULY 02, 2015

Applies to:

Oracle NoSQL Database - Version and later
Linux x86-64

On BDA V4.2 'bdacheckcluster' does not recognize NoSQL is running.

Symtoms include:

1. When installing NoSQL on BDA V4.2 or upgrading NoSQL to 4.2 Mammoth fails at Step 16 with:

ERROR: Oracle NoSQL Database doesn't seem to be running
ERROR: Big Data Appliance failed cluster health checks

2. Running bdacheckcluster standalone raises the same ERROR.

Everything else regarding the NoSQL installation/upgrade/environment looks fine.
