Information in this document applies to any platform.
As part of the operation of MySQL Cluster , the option is available to completely re-initialise a ndbd ( or ndbmtd ) node ( the distributed storage engine ) by getting an updated copy of its persistent data from another node in the Node Group of a running cluster.
This Document will cover the scenarios when this is a recommended course of action.
