Purpose
To provide information related to using the Oracle Universal Installer (OUI) version 11.2 for hp OpenVMS Itanium.
Scope
This note is for anyone needing assistance installing the 11.2 software on OpenVMS Itanium. This is intended to supplement the information already available in Oracle 11G Installation Guide Release 2 11.2.0.4 for hp OpenVMS Itanium.

| Tip 15: Always use OpenVMS logical names when entering paths. |
| Tip 16: Ensure that tcpip$inet_host does not include the domain. |
