Symptoms

Running expdp fails like:

$ expdp file=<DUMPFILE>.dmp directory=DATA_PUMP_DIR tablespaces=<TABLESPACE_NAME>
UDE-00013: internal expdp error.

 
The error could point to to permission issues as for instance documented in:
<Note 752482.1> - User Not Belonging To DBA Group Is Unable To Run DataPump Expdp Or Impdp And Receives Errors UDE-13 UDE-19

However, the expdp and oracle permissions appear to look correct:

$ ls -al expdp
-rwxr-x--x    1 oracle   dba        49073909 Jun 06 2014  expdp

$ ls -al oracle
-rwsr-s--x    1 oracle   dba       309668542 Jul 30 2014  oracle
