This document provides two different solutions that resolve the PRVF-7567 error of "Group '{0}' is not the primary group for user '{1}' on node '{2}'".
This error can occur during a failed "./runInstaller", RAC OUI Install/Upgrade, prerequisite check. The following is a message that is similar to what is displayed to the user:

"Group Membership: {0}(Primary) - This is a prerequisite condition to test whether user "{1}" has group "{0}" as its primary group"

In this prerequisite check, it verifies that the primary group specified in the "/etc/oraInst.loc" file matches the primary group for the user doing the install/upgrade.

PRVF-7567: "Group '{0}' is not the primary group for user '{1}' on node '{2}'"
Cause: The specified group is not the primary group for the specified user.
Action: Make the specified group as the primary group for the user.
