Symptoms
A schema is being exported with DataPump export (expdp) to a different database. This schema contains a read only role, e.g. SCOTT_READONLY_ROLE, which is having SELECT privilege on SCOTT's tables. in the source database, which is not present in the target database.
During import, this is failing with below errors:
ORA-39083: Object type OBJECT_GRANT failed to create with error:
ORA-01917: user or role 'SCOTT_READONLY_ROLE' does not exist
ORA-01917: user or role 'SCOTT_READONLY_ROLE' does not exist
