BDA bdacheckcluster Utility Reports "Required package R-core is is not valid : .M....G.. /usr/share/R/library" (Doc ID 2049875.1)

Symptoms

1. On one or more nodes, bdacheckcluster reports:

<HOSTNAME>: ERROR: Required package R-core is is not valid : .M....G..    /usr/share/R/library


Since bdacheckcluster needs to be successful prior to Mammoth related activities like upgrade, patching, etc. this error needs to be corrected prior to such activities.

2. Checking '/usr/share/R/library' on the nodes with the error shows:


a) That it is owned by "root:rstudio_users" instead of "root:root".
