Symptoms

Slaves of master versions 5.6.24, 5.6.25, and 5.6.26, might get out of sync when the master is shutdown, or the binlog dump thread is killed.

Changes

The fix for this bug introduced a new bug into 5.6.24:

Bug 19975697 - SLAVE IO_THREAD MAY GET STUCK WHEN USING GTID AND LOW SLAVE_NET_TIMEOUTS
