Symptoms

  1. The SQL Tuning Advisor crashes with the following error after plugging in an 11.2.0.4 upgraded database into a 12.1.0.2 container database:
    ORA-00600: intern felkod, argument: [ktsxtffs-3], [2], [0], [], [], [], [], []


  2. Review of the generated tracefiles reveals a call stack similar to:
    ... <- ktsxtffs <- ktfbfef <- qerfxFetch <- opifch2 <- kpoal8 <- opiodr <- ttcpip <- opitsk <- opiino <- opiodr <- opidrv <- ...

Changes

A standalone 11.2.0.4 database has been upgraded to 12.1.0.2 and plugged in to a 12.1.0.2 container database.
