Slow Performance Querying SQL SERVER Tables From Oracle Using DG4MSQL (Doc ID 2066796.1)

Symptoms

When performing a query from Oracle via Oracle Database Gateway for SQL*Server (DG4MSQL) some queries hang or have slow performance.

Example: 

  
Running the same query directly in SQL*Server also hangs or is slow.  By adding the NOLOCK command on the SQL*Server side then the query returns in milliseconds.
