ORA-7445 [$cold_kpuscn0] Raised for Select on HP-UX

Oracle Database - Enterprise Edition - Version 188.8.131.52 to 184.108.40.206 [Release 11.1]
The alert log and the incident trace file reports with the following errors
ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [$cold_kpuscn0()+33120] [SIGILL] [ADDR:0x4000000003462DC0] [PC:0x4000000003462DC0] [Register NAT consumption] 
The current sql in the trace file shows a simple user select with bind variables and group by called from a user-defined PL/SQL package body.
The call stack in the trace file shows functions like:
