Instructions to Patch Oracle Big Data Appliance to Support Turkey 2015 DST Changes (Doc ID 2069351.1)

Purpose

Turkey has shifted DST from 25-Oct-2015 to 08-Nov-2015. Clocks will turn back one hour from 04:00 to 03:00 on Sunday, November 8, 2015.

The change is included in the 2015g zone information update of the IANA Timezone (Olson) database which is the official repository of time zone information.

This document provides instructions to update tzdata rpms on Oracle Big Data Appliance (BDA), which contain a fix for the Turkey timezone changes scheduled for 08-Nov-2015.
